Sunday Musings - Life to the Full

I have come that they may have life,
and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10

I was reminded of this scripture and its importance in our lives as I was working through the free mindset meditation resource designed by Naomi Aidoo, an author and clarity & copy coach for driven christian female entrepreneurs who I "met" during an online success challenge.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Life to the Full resource, which includes an audio and workbook that discuss switching our mindset to embrace the abundant life Jesus promised us in His Word. Naomi encourages us to think about where we find the most joy in Jesus and to be intentional about including that in our lives. I personally find a lot of joy spending time illustrating in my Bible, and I was inspired to pull out my Bible and illustrate the promise in John 10:10.

Naomi also shared ten steps to help us shift our mindset, and I recorded those in my Bible beside Colossians 3:2. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the Earth.

As I'm reevaluating and taking time to wait on the Lord's direction regarding the business/ministry I've been working on the past few years, I'm spending time in the Word as well as connecting with other Christian entrepreneurs. I joined the Sheerah Network Facebook group and was inspired to create a page in my journaling Bible after learning that the group name originated from the brief mention of Sheerah in 1 Chronicles 7:24. Now his daughter was Sheerah, who built Lower and Upper Beth Horon and Uzzen Sheerah.

I'm excited about the resources that God is leading me to as I take this time to seek His direction, and I definitely want to have the mindset that will enable me to live in the abundant life that Jesus promised!
