Big Storm - Give Your Photos Stories

I know many of you are familiar with Debbie Hodge and the Get It Scrapped website where there's tons of scrapbooking inspiration and classes and the Masterful Scrapbook Design series. But did you know that Debbie has launched a new podcast? There are already four episodes of the Give Your Photos Stories podcast.

I was honored to be a guest on the most recent episode on the topic of Big Storm. I hope you'll pop over there and listen in to our stories about tornadoes and hurricanes and blizzards and power outages and evacuations.

Here's a look at some of the layouts I mentioned in the podcast.

Do you have any stories about Big Storms? Have you scrapbooked those stories?

Your pages are so full of photos and journalling - great records you gave here! Yes, we gave lots of pages of snow trusted activities here :).

Oh bother, blooming auto correct! That should say ' we have lots of snow related photos!'

Oh how fun - listening to that (and a couple of other podcasts) are on my plan for this weekend. I like doing it while I scrap.

Had fun spotting you in the photo of the Disney group at Play too!

Melissa, I finally got a chance to listen to your podcast this lunchtime - and it was so good to hear you! I enjoyed it very much. We don't have storms like that here so there was a lot of interest for me. Poignantly, what I was reminded of when you were all talking was the way houses here used to be evacuated for bomb warnings. I was really surprised at that coming into my mind, and the contrast it provides.

It was great! I hope you appear again soon

I am enjoying Debbie's new podcast, but I haven't gotten to your episode yet. I have some ice storm pictures that still need scrapping - and I'm hoping that the sleet against my window right now doesn't turn into a storm worth scrapping.

I scrapped the tsunami warning day we had; we never actually saw any effects of it but it was an interesting day nonetheless.
