A Quick & Simple Layout

I have a quick and simple layout to share with you today. I wanted to add a copy of our wedding announcement to the beginning of our 2002 scrapbook, so I simply mounted the announcement on a piece of red cardstock, adhered it to a 12x12 piece of black cardstock, and added a few punched hearts I found in my red color bin.

Have you completed any quick and simply layouts recently?

Oh you both look so happy Melissa - gorgeous outfits too.

My PL Gratitude pages are about as simple and quick as they go at the moment.

I'm working on one for Scrap 365 magazine: it has to be simple enough to be made in a hour.

You look gorgeous

I love that you've created this, I think it's better that a busy layout doesn't take away from the whole story behind the layout. Gorgeous

I love this, Melissa! Sometimes clean and simple is the best way to showcase something. Your beautiful announcement looks awesome on the black background. :)

Perfect! Anything more would have taken away from the beauty of the announcement. I love it when most of the work is already done for me!

Gorgeous announcement and definitely the best way to showcase it. I did some super simple pages like that during LOAD in May. Nothing since.

Oh my goodness Melissa! Those photos are amazing! They remind me of something from Currier & Ives! Love it!

This is fabulous! It doesn't look like a Texas wedding, though. Where were you married?

You’re right Karen! We were married in the Canadian Rockies . . . on a frozen river! It certainly made for fairy tale photos, don’t you think! :>)

It looks fabulous. Sometimes simple is best - it keeps the viewer from being distracted.
