Christmas Clutter Countdown Week 17
CHRISTMAS WEEK 17
I'm a little behind posting my week 17 activities. Since I'm posting daily in December, some of this is repetitive, so I'll just do a quick update on our activities from last week. We watched several Christmas movies: Elf, The Polar Express, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Enjoyed several holiday events: Noontime Pageturners December book club meeting & Christmas potluck (made Cherry Coke Salad), Ladies Ornament Exchange (made Magic Cookie Bars), and theatre production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Created and sent Christmas cards to Card Cupids and shipped great-nephew's birthday gift. Completed shopping for Robbie's gifts and stocking stuffers. Signed up as a volunteer with our local community outreach to work two days of their Christmas adoption toy drive. I'll be helping sort the gifts as they are brought in by donors and then helping distribute to families on the pick-up day. Robbie signed up to help one day also. We've received several Christmas cards which I'm displaying in a small basket under the Christmas tree.
DECLUTTERING WEEK 17
The focus last week was on bathrooms. I have to admit that I didn't work on the bathrooms at all other than their weekly cleaning. Our guest bathroom has one cabinet and one drawer which only hold extra towels, toothpaste, toilet paper, etc, so it's in good shape. We have several cabinets in the master bathroom, all except one are very organized, one needs to be emptied and organized, but at least I know what's in there for now and I'll work on it when an inspiration hits or after the first of the year.
